Multiple sclerosis was first recognized as a disease as far back as 1868; however the exact cause of this disease is still unknown. There are many contributing factors that are thought to actually trigger the disease, which manifests itself in a variety of different symptoms that can start out so minor that they are not recognized to those that can leave a person fully disabled or dead. There has been a lot of research into a stem cell MS cure, with some startling results.
With so many thousands of people living with multiple sclerosis on a daily basis, research emphasis is being placed on finding a cure for this potentially fatal disease rather than on what causes it. Don’t get me wrong, there is still plenty of research in this area as well. One area of study that has been getting a lot of attention lately is the search for a stem cell MS cure. Having tried a plethora of drugs to no avail, researchers have turned their eyes on the basic building blocks of the human body.
